A clearer list of issues to discuss at handover
Discuss your home
Tell us whether it is a new or resale property and where you are in the handover process.
Check accessible areas
The agreed scope covers accessible finishes, fittings and service points. Working water, power and property access affect the checks.
Get written snag findings
Use the recorded findings to discuss repairs or corrections with the builder or seller.
What happens next
- Request a callback and tell us about the property.
- Agree the PDI scope, fee and visit with the team.
- Review the written findings and discuss corrections with your builder or seller.
A dedicated assessment of your home.
PDI is a standalone whole-home assessment. It is separate from a seepage inspection and does not automatically include repair work.
PDI records findings within the agreed inspection scope. It is not structural certification or a guarantee that every hidden defect will be found.
Request a callbackBefore you decide
Is PDI only for a new home?
It can also help assess a resale home. Tell the team about the property so the inspection scope can be agreed.
Will Ezeetask repair the snags?
Repair work is not automatically included in PDI. Use the findings to discuss corrections with your builder or seller; any separate work needs its own agreement.
What should be ready for the visit?
Arrange property access and confirm which water and power connections are working. The team will explain what can be checked and any limits.
